Documentation on Stacking
by Ken Goosens 8-16-91
RBBS 17.4 continues to fulfill the promise of earlier versions
that command stacking will be universally supported in RBBS-PC.
1) the Join subcommand of conference v)iew now stacks. So you
can say, for example, "j r s".
2) you can now stack a download at the end. For example,
"f d file1 z" now works
3) you can stack any command on the initial download as well,
though the results will be unpredicatable unless you use
turbo logon. For example, "john does <password> ! r s" will
turbo to the main prompt and execute read since". Or
"john doe <password> ! d tstdor" to door to tstdor. Or
"john doe <password> !beta r l" to read last backwards after
turbo joining conference beta.
4) having more that 3 new bulletins no longer interfers with
command stacking on logon.
5) you can stack when using a field to individuate callers with
the same name. The order of the stacked commands is always
the same as the order questions would be answered, so the
format is
<fname>;<lname>;<individ>;<password>
